If you missed out on the February market (that pesky half-term!), then you get a do-over this month, as new guest stall Hot Pods Chillis will be back to add a little kick to Maple Road.
Owner Stephen Dixon gets all fired up talking about his hot sauces and well he should – he also grows all of the peppers used for a true “farm to table” experience.
Hearing him speak about how the weather affects his chillis’ ranking on the Scoville Scale and how he has to tweak each batch of sauce individually to ensure product conformity is what farmers’ markets are all about!
