Momentum Children’s Charity will be the March market’s “Charity of the Month”.
For those new to the area, Momentum provides individualised support to children with cancer and other serious conditions and their families. Originating at Kingston Hospital, they’re now able to offer their services further afield across South West London, Surrey and West Sussex.
Surbiton Farmers’ Market gives Momentum the opportunity to speak directly to the community and raise additional funds (which the market subsequently matches). These monies go to everything from providing music therapy to a child living with a sick sibling to arranging a respite holiday at the beach for the entire family.
